one time, when i was 5, i found a dead bird in my yard. i brought it inside my house and presented it to my mother. as if i wanted her to fix it some how. i don’t remember this, but my sister and mom say its true. even then i was obsessed with birds. and thought dead birds were the biggest tragedy of life.
